No it’s not.
Time is what animates space.
Money is an exchange medium within a culture.
Totally different beasts.

SHIFTING SANDS
Why my fascination with time? We would have a problem if it wasn’t there.
Time is like taking out a subscription. Some is removed from your account at regular intervals.
We are gradually eroded. Reduced to our component parts and ready to be made into something brand new – with an expiry date.
WHAT YEAR IS IT?
I have an inbuilt need to be creative and have worked in advertising, traditional oil painting, video production – scripting, directing and editing television ads and corporate videos, forest regeneration, drawing maps, composing and performing live music in nightclubs – mostly electronic. I have a Sociology degree. I am interested in media, history, psychology, science, forests, meditation unattached to religion, anthropology and culture. I believe in humanism and the benefits of co-operation over competition.

Our friend Wally, the swamp wallaby, lived 18 years – about 4 times their natural expected lifespan. Semi wild and at least as smart as a dog. We gave him little snacks occasionally, favorite was peanut butter. Hands got a good licking afterwards.
RANT SPACE…
Politics?
Yuk!
You should only notice politicians when they are not doing their job.
Otherwise they should be invisible.
Unfortunately you have to watch them constantly as corruption creeps in. Then throw the dirty creatures in the wash, get out another lot and try again.
It’s not just capitalism and socialism out there – black and white. You don’t have to have just one or the other. That’s cow bi-product and very divisive. Can’t we have the best of both systems? Sure we need defence and economic security, but also hospitals, education and social services.
There are quite a few varieties of socialism, political structures that actually care for all the people rather than the manipulative few. Some have higher standards of living and life satisfaction than our great role models the USA and Great Britain.

Apart from this nonsense, we live on an incredible and living wondrous planet, revolving in a sea of unfriendly emptiness.
……… and so I say this:
“May the blue bird of contentment nest in your tree of life fulfilment”.
I live happily with my wife, in the little village of Cygnet, Tasmania – next stop Antarctica.

A funny little piece I sent to my mate Paul that just cycles relentlessly round and round.
A bit like zombies really.
